New York, NY, February 20, 2024 -- Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP today announced that data privacy attorney Briony Pollard has joined the Firm as a partner. She is based in the Firm’s London’s office, and is part of Willkie’s Privacy, Cybersecurity & Data Strategy practice group.
Briony focuses her practice on the data protection and privacy aspects of corporate, M&A and private equity transactions. She also advises clients on intellectual property procurement, licensing and litigation, information governance and data protection, advertising regulation and other general commercial matters. Briony has advised on transactions across a wide range of sectors including technology, media and telecommunications (TMT), life sciences, financial services, retail and consumer goods, travel, entertainment and sports. She was previously counsel at Weil, Gotshal & Manges.
