On July 31, Willkie client Wendel, one of Europe’s leading listed investment firms, announced that it signed an agreement to sell its portfolio company Constantia Flexibles, a global leader in the flexible packaging market, to an affiliate of One Rock Capital Partners. Willkie provided counsel to Wendel and other shareholders of Constantia Flexibles.
Constantia Flexibles is the world’s third-largest producer of flexible packaging, with approximately 7,650 employees manufacturing tailor-made packaging solutions at 30 sites in 16 countries.
The Willkie team was led by partners Dr. Axel Wahl and Georg Linde and included partners Daniel Hurstel and Dr. Bettina Bokeloh, counsel Wolfgang Münchow and associate Dr. Tobias Gerigk.
