Willkie’s San Francisco office was profiled in Law.com after signing a lease for a new and larger space in order to build on years of steady growth.
In the article, Simona Agnolucci and Benedict Hur, Managing Partners of the San Francisco office, discussed Willkie’s growing presence in San Francisco, the people and culture that have contributed to the success of the office, and the firm’s long-term commitment to the city.
Law.com highlighted how the San Francisco office has grown to 45 lawyers since it launched in 2019 and forms Willkie’s West Coast platform alongside offices in Los Angeles and Palo Alto. Planned for the end of the year, the move to the new location not only reflects the success of Willkie’s San Francisco team but also anticipates its continued growth. The expanded footprint represents a 40% increase in space and will accommodate the San Francisco office’s burgeoning ranks while strengthening its spirit of collaboration.
“Our new office has plenty of space for growth,” Ben told Law.com. “We’ll continue to look to grow in our core practices including litigation, corporate and M&A.”
Simona told Law.com that the success of the San Francisco office comes down to a group effort, and the fact that they have built a stellar team that people want to be a part of.
“We have fantastic people who we recruited, who then went out and recruited people themselves,” she said.
