On July 17, it was announced that Willkie client Searchlight Capital Partners made a recommended final cash offer for the entire share capital of London-listed Gresham House plc, a specialist alternative asset manager.
The transaction values Gresham House plc at approximately £469.8 million. The acquisition is subject to shareholder and certain regulatory approvals.
Searchlight is a leading global private investment firm with offices in New York, London and Toronto. A Willkie team also advised Searchlight in relation to the take-private of Hyve Group plc, the completion of which was announced on June 8, 2023.
The Willkie team was led by private equity partners Gavin Gordon and Philip Coletto and finance partner Daniel Gendron, and included regulatory partner Henrietta de Salis.
