Willkie advised all shareholders in Blinks Labs GmbH (Blinkist), including the founders and lead investor Insight Partners, in the sale of learning app Blinkist to Go1, a global learning platform that aggregates content to deliver education and training across a range of industries and topics.
Blinkist offers book summaries and podcasts on professional and personal development topics, which can be read, viewed or listened to on any device. Used by approximately 26 million people worldwide, Blinkist distills the most relevant nonfiction books and podcasts down to key 15-minute summaries.
The sellers consortium comprises the founders, Insight Partners, Greycroft, Headline, IBB Venture, MGO and several angel investors.
The Willkie team was led by partners Miriam Steets and Nathan Sawyer and included counsel Sebastian Brenner and Wulf Kring and associates David Strätling and Melina Terwesten.
