Willkie advised INCEPTIV, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm providing tailored capital solutions for deal sponsors and GPs, in connection with its investment in a European private equity real estate investment management platform.
On April 28, INCEPTIV announced the closing of its investment in Project Ocean, which is comprised of a GP equity commitment, a co-GP balance sheet, and a working capital line to a European institutional real estate fund platform targeting student housing and life science assets across several geographies.
Willkie previously advised INCEPTIV on the formation of its flagship fund providing capital for GPs and deal sponsors in private equity and real estate, Inceptiv Platform I, LP.
The Willkie team was led by partner David Hong and included Bryan Kelly, Sarah Gelb, Samuel Neill, Devin Ralston and Evan Saunders.
