Willkie recently advised Banneker Partners and its portfolio company Versaterm Public Safety, a global public safety solutions leader, on the acquisition of CI Technologies, a provider of professional standards, internal affairs, wellness and early intervention software for public safety agencies.
Founded in 1992, CI Technologies' solutions are utilized by more than 950 public safety agencies across the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. The acquisition, announced March 16, is expected to bolster Versaterm Public Safety's comprehensive public safety ecosystem, further enhancing agency operations and efficiency, and improving community service, engagement and safety.
Willkie previously advised Banneker Partners in connection with its investment in Versaterm Public Safety in 2020, among numerous other transactions, and represented Versaterm Public Safety in its subsequent acquisitions of FivePoint Solutions and Visual Labs.
The Willkie team was led by partner A. Mark Getachew and counsel Jeffrey Daniel.
