Willkie is representing Syntagma Capital in exclusive negotiations with Eramet to acquire Erasteel, its high-speed steel and recycling division.
Erasteel, headquartered in Paris, is a global leader in the conventional and powder metallurgy of high-speed steels used for machining, drilling and cutting tools. In addition, the company has metal recycling operations in Europe focusing on batteries, catalysts and metals.
Erasteel employs approximately 850 employees across six sites in France, Sweden and China. It generated approximately €275 million in revenue in 2022, primarily serving the aerospace, automotive and industrial sectors.
Syntagma Capital is a private equity firm based in Brussels and focused on investments in the material, chemical, industrial and business services markets.
