On February 15, Willkie client Shamrock Capital announced a minority growth investment in Boardwalk Pictures, an award-winning production company that creates non-fiction entertainment for audiences across the globe.
Founded in 2010 by Andrew Fried, Boardwalk has spearheaded the transformation of non-fiction entertainment into one of the fastest-growing draws for audiences, and received over 20 Emmy nominations and 4 wins. The company’s slate of projects includes Chef’s Table, Cheer, Welcome to Wrexham, Val, The Black Godfather, The Big Brunch, We Need To Talk About Cosby and Pepsi, Where’s My Jet?
