On December 13, a consortium led by American businessman and philanthropist Bill Foley announced its acquisition of English Premier League club AFC Bournemouth.
The consortium known as Black Knight Football Club acquired the club from its previous owner, Maxim Demin, after the transaction received all necessary approvals from the Premier League.
Foley, who has an extensive background in sports and is the founder and owner of the National Hockey League’s Vegas Golden Knights, will assume the role of Chairman of AFC Bournemouth with immediate effect.
The Willkie team was led by partners Gavin Gordon and Andrew Gray and included associates Ethan Douglas, Oliver Smith and Alexander Titmus.
