The directors of Atax Consultants recently announced the sale of their business to the EIF group. Atax Consultants is a major player in advising property owners on the value of energy-saving work in terms of property tax optimization. Willkie advised the management of Atax Consultants on the sale.
The acquirer, EIF, is a leader in France in the field of consulting services for private property owners in local urban planning taxation. As EIF's first build-up, the acquisition of Atax enables it to add a new skillset, particularly in the area of advice on obtaining CEE (Energy Saving Certificates).
