On October 24, Fermyon Technologies, a company developing the first cloud-native WebAssembly platform, announced that it raised $20 million in Series A funding led by Willkie client Insight Partners.
Existing investor Amplify Partners also participated in the funding round, alongside individual investors. Fermyon is pioneering the next wave of cloud computing with a WebAssembly PaaS that lets developers build better microservices faster.
Insight Partners is a global software investor partnering with high-growth technology, software, and Internet startup and ScaleUp companies. As of June 30, 2022, the firm has over $80 billion in regulatory assets under management.
The Willkie team was led by partner Matthew Haddad and included associate Tai Fukumoto.
