On March 31, global private investment firm Searchlight Capital Partners announced the disposal of its controlling stake in Opus, a market-leading vehicle inspection business in Sweden, to Arcus Infrastructure Partners through its fund Arcus European Infrastructure Fund 2 SCSp.
Opus Bilprovning AB operates a network of 94 vehicle inspection stations in Sweden serving approximately 1.4 million customers annually. Opus Bilprovning operates predominantly in the mandatory periodic technical inspections sector for light and heavy vehicles, which involves the testing of vehicles for mandatory safety requirements and emission levels.
Searchlight Capital Partners is a global private investment firm that makes investments across a wide range of transaction types, including buyouts, growth equity, recapitalizations and investments throughout a company’s capital structure.
