On September 13, Willkie clients Qualium Investissement and Lauxera Capital Partners announced their acquisition of a majority stake in VERDOT Ips², a leading provider of chromatographic purification solutions.
Qualium Investissement and Lauxera Capital Partners acquired a majority stake in VERDOT Ips² through an investment of over €65 million, alongside the company’s management team and existing shareholders Capital Export and SWEN Capital Partners.
VERDOT Ips² specializes in the design, manufacturing and sale of purification solutions by liquid chromatography and tangential filtration, mainly for the biopharmaceutical sector. The investment made by the consortium is expected to accelerate VERDOT Ips²'s international development, particularly in the U.S.
Qualium Investissement is a leader in the French private equity market with €1 billion under management. Lauxera Capital Partners is an independent asset management company based in Paris and San Francisco.
The Willkie team was led by partner Gabriel Flandin and included partner Igor Kukhta, special European counsel Philippe Grudé, and associates Marie Aubard, Sylvain Bureau and Eden Attias.
