The panel discussion with PTAB judges drew strong interest.
On July 20, Willkie Chicago hosted a well-attended PTAB Bar Association event that featured insights from a group of Patent Trial and Appeal Board administrative patent judges.
The event titled “Practice Before the PTAB – From the PTAB Judges’ Perspective” attracted more than 100 practitioners, law students and judges for panel discussions about how patent trials are conducted at the PTAB, emerging issues in the field and career development in patent law.
Sara Tonnies Horton, Co-Chair of Willkie’s Patent & Other IP Litigation Practice Group, moderated the event and was joined in panel discussions by partner Michael Babbitt and associate Mitchell Feldhake.
