Willkie advised Flowbird in its acquisition of YourParkingSpace, a UK parking technology company.
On July 13, Willkie client Flowbird, a portfolio company of Searchlight Capital Partners, announced its acquisition of YourParkingSpace from Pelican Capital and founders.
YourParkingSpace is the UK’s leading online parking reservation platform designed to find and pre-book parking spaces for drivers. Founded in 2013, the business has grown by 125% in the past 12 months.
French-headquartered Flowbird is a leading global provider of software, mobile apps, payments and hardware solutions for parking (Smart Parking) and transport ticketing and open payments (Smart Transport) for municipal and privately-owned car parking and public transport systems.
Willkie previously advised Searchlight Capital Partners in its acquisition of Flowbird.
The Willkie team was led by partners Gavin Gordon and Andrew Gray and included partner Grégory de Saxcé. Partner Ashley Young and counsel Timothy Sawyer led on the financing aspects.
