New York, NY, June 1, 2022 -- Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP today announced that David Jansen has joined the Firm as counsel in the Frankfurt office, where he will expand the Firm’s global regulatory platform and establish a Frankfurt-based practice, continuing the Firm’s investment and expansion in the German market.
“We have long planned to expand our regulatory offering in Frankfurt, and David’s pedigree and experience in the field is an excellent fit for Willkie,” said Corporate & Financial Services Department partner Georg Linde, who manages Willkie’s Frankfurt office. “Regulation is an increasingly important part of transactional work as well as on a stand-alone basis, and David will be a valuable resource to the expanding needs of our clients in Frankfurt and across the Firm. David has significant experience in the financial sector, and focuses his practice on advising clients on financial services regulatory and asset management matters as well as on M&A transactions. He provides counsel on banking and insurance regulatory matters, as well as advising asset management companies and institutional investors on the structuring and launch of investment funds and investment products. He was formerly counsel at Freshfields.
