New York, NY (May 3, 2022) --- Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP today announced the arrival of Genevieve Dorment, who has joined the Firm as a partner in the Intellectual Property Department. She is based in New York.

Genevieve focuses her practice on intellectual property matters, serving as IP and privacy counsel for a broad range of public and private companies, private equity firms and charitable organizations. She has extensive experience advising clients on intellectual property, privacy and technology aspects of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and financing transactions, licensing, strategic agreements and U.S. trademark applications and registrations. She also advises on intellectual property enforcement matters. She was previously a partner at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP.

Genevieve’s arrival follows the addition earlier this year of San Francisco-based IP litigator Barrington Dyer. In 2021, the Firm also added IP litigators Krista Schwartz and Jonathan Patchen in San Francisco, and patent litigators Indranil Mukerji and Stephen Marshall in Washington, DC.
