Willkie represented Rod and Tubing Services, a portfolio company of Lime Rock Partners, in the transaction.
Willkie client Rod and Tubing Services, a portfolio company of Lime Rock Partners, completed a business combination with Certus Energy Solutions, LLC, a portfolio company of Amberjack Capital Partners. RTS and Certus provide rental and inspection services, data analytics and technology solutions in the oilfield services industry.
The combined company will offer tubular management services across the well lifecycle, including drilling, completion, and production operations. It leverages proprietary software from both RTS and Certus to provide customers with innovative data reporting and performance analytics, and serves three productive oil plays – the Permian Basin, Eagle Ford, and Bakken – from strategically located, high-capacity facilities.
The Willkie deal team was led by partners Bruce Herzog and Jay Hughes, and included associates Chris Truman and Samantha Astrich. The transaction included assistance from partners Eugene Chang, Robert Jacobson and Mark Holdsworth.
