Honors include firmwide recognition for Environment/Sustainability Program of the Year, and three individual honors.
Willkie has been shortlisted for four honors as part of the Chambers Diversity & Inclusion Awards: North America 2021. The awards celebrate the achievements of firms and individuals who are furthering the advancement of diversity and inclusion across the United States and Canada.
Firmwide, Willkie is named a finalist for Environment/Sustainability Program of the Year, a new Chambers Diversity & Inclusion award established this year which celebrates the work of firms and companies in embedding these values in business strategy and culture. The firm recently released its new publication Willkie Green, which describes the numerous sustainability initiatives Willkie has implemented to reduce the firm’s environmental impact.
Additionally, three attorneys individually were named to the shortlist for the following awards:
- Future Leader – Kaydene Grinnell
- Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year – Richard Mancino
- Diversity and Inclusion Lawyer of the Year – Sameer Advani
The winners will be announced virtually at a ceremony on June 17.
