Willkie’s Paris office represents Arch Capital Group Ltd. in its acquisition of a minority stake in Coface from Natixis.
On February 25, Arch Capital Group Ltd. announced its acquisition of a 29.5% stake in Coface, the French-based leader in the global trade credit insurance listed on Euronext Paris, from Natixis. The transaction remains subject to the required regulatory approvals, notably from the French prudential regulator, the Autorité de Contrôle prudentiel et de Résolution (ACPR). Willkie advised Arch Capital Group in the transaction.
Arch Capital Group Ltd., a Bermuda-based company with approximately $13.23 billion in capital at Dec. 31, 2019, provides insurance, reinsurance and mortgage insurance on a worldwide basis through its wholly owned subsidiaries.
