The JNE assists the California Governor in the judicial selection process.
Corporate partner Tiffany Lee was recently appointed to serve as a Commissioner on the 2020-2021 Commission on Judicial Nominees Evaluation (JNE) for the State of California. The Commission's mission “is to assist the Governor in the judicial selection process and thereby to promote a California judiciary of quality and integrity by providing independent, comprehensive, accurate, and fair evaluations of candidates for judicial appointment and nomination.” Members of the Commission were selected based on many factors, including their “professional accomplishments, community involvement, and the unique perspective” they bring to the Commission’s important work. Ms. Lee is the Managing Partner of the firm’s Palo Alto office.
