The firm represented the lenders, on the financing of the Prado Carénage tunnel extension carried out by the Société Marseille du Tunnel Prado Carénage (SMTPC).
Willkie recently advised La Banque Postale, Caisse d'Epargne CEPAC, CaixaBank and Natixis acting as lenders and/or hedging banks in the context of a €60.5 million financing intended for the construction of an extension to the Prado Carénage tunnel in Marseille from and to boulevard Schlœsing and the East and South-East districts of the city.
The transaction follows the recent refinancing of the term loan financing of Société Prado Sud, the concessionaire of the Prado Sud tunnel in Marseille, for a total amount of €117 million -- in the context of which Willkie had already advised the same group of financial institutions (La Banque Postale, Caisse d'Épargne CEPAC, CaixaBank and Natixis).
The Willkie team was led by partners Thierry Laloum and Amir Jahanguiri and included special European counsel Charles Antoine Erignac and associates Antoine Bouzanquet and Maryon Demoulin.
