Willkie represented CapStreet Group, LLC, a Houston-based private equity firm, in the transaction.
On December 2, Willkie client CapStreet Group, LLC held the final closing of CapStreet V, L.P. (“Fund V”) at $500 million, reaching the fund’s hard cap. Fund V will pursue the same strategy as its predecessor funds, with a focus on lower middle market transactions, primarily in the greater Houston area.
Based in Houston, The CapStreet Group is a private equity firm that invests in growing, lower middle market companies. Since the firm’s founding in 1990, CapStreet has invested in 46 initial platform companies.
The deal team was led by partners Phillip Isom, Bruce Herzog, Hillel Jacobson, Anne Choe, Peter Haller and Henrietta de Salis.
