Willkie represented Bold Rock Partners LP, the #2 cider brand in the U.S., in its agreement to be acquired by Craft Revolution, LLC d/b/a Artisanal Brewing Ventures LLC.
On November 20, Willkie client Bold Rock Partners LP, a Virginia-based hard cider company, announced that it will be acquired by Craft Revolution, LLC d/b/a Artisanal Brewing Ventures LLC.
Bold Rock was founded in 2012 and has since become the largest independently owned craft cidery and the #2 cider brand in the United States. It offers a diverse, award-winning selection of beverages ranging from hard cider to craft hard seltzer and canned cocktails, with products available throughout the mid-Atlantic and Southeast.
Artisanal Brewing Ventures LLC is a Charlotte, NC-based umbrella company of breweries, including Southern Tier Brewing Company, Victory Brewing Company and Sixpoint Brewing Company. It currently ranks as a top ten regional craft brewer in the U.S., and is associated with New York-based hedge fund Ulysses Management LLC.
The Willkie team was led by partners Russell Leaf and Jared Fertman.
