Willkie represented TriTech in the transaction.

TriTech Software Systems, a leader in public safety technology, announced its recapitalization by Bain Capital Private Equity, a leading global private investment firm.

TriTech provides software to over 4,000 police, fire and EMS agencies across the U.S. and was one of the first to embed mapping technology into computer-aided dispatch software. Founded in 1992, TriTech’s software covers every facet within the public safety incident-response workflow, including 9-1-1, computer-aided dispatch, field-based reporting, records management, jail management, analytics and intelligence, patient care reporting, and ambulance billing software.

Willkie client Insight Venture Partners was TriTech’s primary investor since 2014. Insight Venture Partners is a leading global private equity and venture capital firm that has raised more than $18 billion and invested in more than 300 growth-stage software, internet, and data services companies.

The Willkie deal team was led by partners Gordon Caplan, Rosalind Fahey Kruse and Matthew Haddad and included associate Erin Kinney.
