Cengage debtors, which comprise one of the world’s leading publishers of educational resources, filed for bankruptcy on July 2, 2013.

Willkie was engaged to represent Richard D. Feintuch, an independent director of Cengage Learning and its affiliated chapter 11 debtors, and investigate certain prepetition transactions, including an evaluation and analysis of the propriety of the acquisition of certain Cengage debt instruments by Cengage and Apax Partners, Cengage’s private equity sponsor. The Cengage debtors, which comprise one of the world’s leading publishers of educational resources, filed for bankruptcy on July 2, 2013.
