The firm is advising digital security leader Gemalto in its recent unsolicited public tender offer in cash for Wavecom, a leading provider of wireless machine to machine (M2M) technology. A separate offer is being made in the United States under conditions substantially similar to those of the French offer, to holders of American Depositary Shares (ADS) and holders of Wavecom securities domiciled in the United States. More than a billion people worldwide use Gemalto's products and services for telecommunications, financial services, e-government, ID management, multimedia content, digital rights management, IT security, mass transit and many other applications.
