Lehman Brothers announces agreement to acquire David J. Greene and Company, LLC, a New York-based money management firm with approximately $2 billion in assets under management.
On April 23, Willkie client Lehman Brothers, the global investment bank, announced an agreement to acquire David J. Greene and Company, LLC, a New York-based money management firm with approximately $2 billion in assets under management. The transaction is expected to add to the capabilities of Neuberger Berman, which is part of Lehman Brothers’ Asset Management business and manages approximately $145 billion in assets for high net worth and institutional clients. The deal was handled by partners David Boston, Daniel Schloendorn, Frank Daniele and Christopher Peters; of counsel Joseph Cunningham; and associates Matthew Rizzo, Mark Vandehaar and Jared Fertman.
