Richard L. Posen Scholarship

On behalf of the entire Willkie community, we are grateful for the enormous outpouring of sympathy and support that has been extended by so many people in response to Rick’s death.

In remembrance of Rick, the Posen family has agreed with the New York University School of Law, Rick’s law school alma mater, to establish a need-based scholarship which will be known as the “Richard L. Posen Scholarship, established by the Posen Family and Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP.”

Charitable gift donations to the scholarship fund may be made by check made out to “NYU School of Law.”  NYU also welcomes donations of securities and pledges of contributions to be made over time.  The memo portion of a check or cover letter accompanying a donation should note that it is designated for the Richard L. Posen Scholarship.  Contributors may send their donations to:
