Willkie client PAI partners and AMEC agree to €1.04 billion sale of AMEC’s SPIE unit to a new company controlled by funds managed by PAI.
On May 22, it was announced that Willkie client PAI partners and AMEC have agreed to the €1.04 billion sale of AMEC’s SPIE unit to a new company controlled by funds managed by PAI. AMEC SPIE, with about 23,000 employees operating in approximately 380 European locations, provides electrical engineering, communications services and specialist activities in the energy and rail industries, predominantly in France. In 2005, AMEC SPIE’s revenues were £1,755 billion. The transaction was handled by partners Daniel Payan, Eduardo Fernandez and Christophe Garaud, and associate Stéphane Huten.
