Willkie listed among the top 20 U.S. law firms to comprise The American Lawyer’s first annual “A-List.”
Willkie was listed among the top 20 U.S. law firms to comprise The American Lawyer’s first annual “A-List.” The list, which was selected by the magazine’s editors and drawn from rankings of the nation’s 200 largest firms, highlights the “new elite of the industry.” The top 50 of the 200 firms surveyed were noted as the “honored top quarter,” with only the top 20 appearing on the A-List. Earlier in 2003, Willkie was also recognized on the “Am Law 100,” The American Lawyer’s ranking of the top 100 firms in the U.S. and on the magazine’s special “Bankruptcy Report,” where the firm was featured for having served as debtor’s counsel in two of the biggest bankruptcy cases of 2002. The Am Law A-List was published in the September edition of the monthly legal industry magazine.
