Taylor & Francis plc announces plans to purchase scientific, technical and medical publisher CRC Press for $95 million in cash from firm client Stamford, CT-based Information Holdings Inc.
The Daily Deal online reported February 28 that Taylor & Francis plc announced it will purchase scientific, technical and medical publisher CRC Press for $95 million in cash from firm client Stamford, CT-based Information Holdings Inc. Taylor & Francis expects the acquisition of CRC, which publishes 32 journals and 350 new book titles a year, to invigorate its North American operations. The Deal lists partner Steven Gartner and associates Julie Coleman, Natalie Packman and Shelley Clifford as advisors to Information Holdings.
