Counsel Tamika Bent will serve as a co-chairperson for day one of the program Understanding Financial Products 2025, hosted by Practising Law Institute, on January 15-16 in New York City. Partner Michael Selig will also participate as a panelist during the event.
On January 15 at 12:00 pm (ET), Tamika will deliver the “Luncheon Segment: Featured Speaker Chat - What's Next in Swap Dealer Compliance" with Michael J. Otten, Senior Vice President of OTC Derivatives at the National Futures Association. At 1:00 pm (ET), she will moderate the panel titled “Derivatives Products Fundamentals.”
On January 16 at 1:30 pm (ET), Michael will speak on the panel titled “‘Hot Topics’ Related to Financial Products and Emergence of Novel Financial Products.” The panelists will discuss the events of 2024 and trends of 2025, the regulatory priorities and enforcement activities related to financial products, and the novel financial products that are gaining popularity.
Alongside Tamika, the event is co-chaired by Sabeena Ahmed Liconte of ICBC Standard Bank Group and Megan O’Flynn of WilmerHale.
