On June 7, partner and Chair of the Employment Litigation & Counseling Practice Andrew Spital will lead the session titled “Non-compete bans: Is it really the end of the road for post-employment restrictive covenants and time has come for alternative arrangements?” The event is part of the European Employment Lawyers Association 2024 Annual Conference, hosted in Reykjavík, Iceland.

The session will provide an overview of the bans and restrictions on non-compete clauses that are being enacted in several jurisdictions. The speakers will discuss whether or not non-compete clauses can still be considered an effective and viable instrument to retain talents while protecting the best interests of employees, among other topics.
