On April 26-28, Willkie partners Margo Bailey, Rita Molesworth, Neal Kumar and Kari Larsen will participate in FIA’s Law & Compliance Division conference in Washington, DC.
- Margo will be a panelist on the session Best Practices for Responding to Investigations and Enforcement Inquiries at 2:15 pm ET on Thursday, April 27. The panel will discuss how to be prepared with a gameplan if your firm receives a call regarding suspicion trading and the CFTC sends a notice of investigation.
- Rita will moderate the roundtable session Buyside Issues at 5:00 pm ET on Thursday, April 27. This will be a practical, informal discussion of the legal and compliance issues facing the buyside today.
- Neal will moderate the session Crypto Regulation & Enforcement at 10:30 am ET on Friday, April 28. The panel will explore how regulators are responding to high-profile failures in digital asset venues and platforms while balancing the potential promise many still see in these products.
- Kari will moderate the session Carbon & Climate Markets at 11:45 am ET on Friday, April 28. The panel will go in depth on compliance and voluntary carbon markets, as well as related listed and OTC derivative markets. It will discuss what legal, documentation and compliance issues need to be considered when transacting in these products.
