On March 16 at 4 pm EST, Willkie’s Chairman, Midwest and partner in the Litigation Department Craig Martin will speak at the Leahy Institute of Advanced Patent Studies 7th Annual Conference, to be held virtually by the Naples Roundtable.
Craig will speak on the panel “Navigating Patent-Antitrust Interface and Conflicts – Which Should Take Priority and When?”
The panel will address questions such as:
- Should patent holders of “critical” technology be compelled to grant licenses in the US and around the world?
- Has the patent thicket become an unnecessary road block?
- Should the quality of evaluations of SEPs be improved, and who should be involved in the process?
The Naples Roundtable explores ways to improve and strengthen the Patent System and accomplishes this mission by fostering an open dialogue among thought leaders, judges and academics on both sides of the “V.”
