On September 22 at 11 am ET, London-based partner Henrietta de Salis will speak at the ACA Fall 2021 Virtual Conference on “The UK’s Investment Firm Prudential Regime.”
The session will discuss the Investment Firm Prudential Regime (IFPR), which will come into force for UK investment firms on January 1, 2022. First developed by the European Union, where it has already been implemented and subsequently refined by the FCA for the UK, the new prudential rules introduce more complex and onerous capital, liquidity, reporting and governance requirements for affected firms. This session will be of interest to US based groups with a UK or EU domiciled investment adviser, and will provide an overview of the key impacts.
