On October 14 at 1:30 pm EST, co-chair of the Cybersecurity & Privacy Practice Group Laura Jehl will speak on a panel at the DRI Annual Meeting, discussing the consequences of the ongoing SolarWinds cyberattack.
This panel will first address the risks that nation state cyberattacks pose to our lives, liberty, and security. Next, speakers will provide recommendations on critical steps public and private sector organizations can take to help protect themselves and others against nation state (and other) cyberattacks—from implementing specific cybersecurity measures to coordinating, cooperating, and sharing information with other public and private sector organizations.
The panel will conclude by providing practical advice on best practices for security incident response, including data breach notification, in the event an organization finds itself in the unfortunate position of being the victim of a nation state (or other) cyberattack.
