Partner Norman C. Bay will participate in a virtual fireside chat as part of the ACORE Policy Forum.
On March 11 at 11 am EST, Willkie partner Norman C. Bay will participate in a virtual fireside chat entitled “Regulatory Action to Tackle the Climate Crisis,” as part of the annual ACORE Policy Forum. Mr. Bay is Head of the Energy Regulatory and Enforcement Group in Washington and Co-Chair of the Energy Commodities Group. He is a past Chairman of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and a former Director of Enforcement at FERC.
This fireside chat will address what tools the new Administration can deploy to confront the climate crisis. Participants will provide an analysis of regulatory authority under EPA, FERC, Interior and other agencies, possible areas of action under the Clean Air Act and Federal Power Act, and what measures are currently expected.
The ACORE Policy Forum will convene leaders from across government and the renewable energy industry for a deep dive on climate policy, grid advocacy, and their expectations for progress at the federal and state levels.
